The SABO Academy was founded in 2014 with the aim of spreading knowledge about some mechanical components present in heavy and commercial vehicles: shock absorbers, air springs, calpiers and suspension. SABO technicians, with video, graphics and technical drawings, will help us to better understand these components.

Pikes Peak International Hill Climb

The brasilian driver Rafael Paschoalin (Yamaha MT-07 with Mupo race suspension) wins the famous hillclimb that takes place every year in Colorado (USA). Rafael triumphed in the Middleweight category. The Pikes Peak International Hill Climb (PPIHC), also known as The Race to the Clouds, is an annual automobile and motorcycle hillclimb to the summit of Pikes Peak in Colorado, USA. The track measures 12.42 miles (19.99 km) and has over 156 turns, climbing 4,720 ft (1,440 m) from the start at Mile 7 on Pikes Peak Highway, to the finish at 14,110 ft (4,300 m), on grades averaging 7.2%.

Every two years, Optifuel Challenge, the Renault Trucks rational driving competition, attracts top international eco-drivers. For this fifth edition, 2,000 drivers from 25 countries are on the starting blocks, with the best driver from each country going forward to the international final due to take place in Lyon next October, in a bid to win the prize of a 2019 Renault Trucks T High.
